Monkey Pod Map Cabinet

This project was built as the center piece of a gear room; designed for entertainment, trip planning, and map storage. The Top measures 41" X 96" and is constructed from Costa Rica Monkey Pod. The cabinet is constructed from West coast big leaf maple. The cabinet was built as a single piece as opposed to multiple cabinets for each section. 13 drawers measuring 26" by 38" can fit an impressive map collection. The two side cabinets feature adjustable shelving and custom made pull-out trays.
